Distributed offline — no Play Store needed

The openHealth Android app is a lightweight shell (~15 MB) that loads the web platform and adds native offline caching. It is not downloaded from the internet — your implementation team or clinician provides it directly.

How to Get the APK

1

From Your Clinician (Patients)

During registration or a clinic visit, your health worker will share the MyHealth APK with you directly via Bluetooth, nearby share, or phone-to-phone transfer.

2

Via WhatsApp or Email

Ask your health worker or implementation team to send the APK file through WhatsApp or email. Open the file on your Android phone to install.

3

Via USB Drive (Facility Setup)

The implementation team distributes both Clinic and Patient APKs on USB drives during facility setup and training sessions. Copy the file to your phone and tap to install.

Installation Note

Your phone may ask you to “Allow installation from unknown sources” — this is normal for apps shared outside the Play Store. The APK is safe and built by the openHealth team.
